Newcastle parkrun 21/07/12

Another Saturday, another route, the disruptions to parkrun never end. The Northern Pride festival taking place in Exhibition Park meant the route had to be changed again at the last minute. Thanks to some fantastic work by the volunteers, a new route was measured and runners were given the challenge of taking on the short hill on Grandstand Road. At least we were treated to some proper summer-like conditions with lots of sunshine. Claremont turnout was quite low compared to usual because of the Coastal Run and Great North 10k the following day.
