Newcastle parkrun 27/10/12

Winter is here! There was a very respectable turnout of 182 runners on the frost covered moor this morning. Chris Hogarth was our only representative, not surprising considering the awful conditions. It was snowing for the first half of the run but the sun eventually came out as the runners skated into the finish. Toonrun regular Kelly Dodds became the first woman into the 100 club and a terrific cake was waiting for her, made by none other than the mystery baker.
