Here’s a quote from the latest Bushy Park parkrun race report:

‘Whilst I was not able to fully absorb this week’s run due to volunteering as Timer, I did see an extraordinary set of travellers. We welcomed 6 dedicated runners from Newcastle doing some pretty extreme parkrun tourism. These hardy north men took the over-night coach down from Newcastle, ran Bushy and were then taking the train home later Saturday afternoon. At least two of them I noticed ran in vest tops, hardy north men indeed, we loved your company and hope you enjoyed the run!‘
