Newcastle parkrun 8/12/12
Just three Claremonters braved the freezing cold today for the 150th Toonrun. To celebrate, the 150th finisher was given a cake made by none other than the mystery baker. The course had to be changed due to patches of ice on the paths and judging by the state of everyone’s kit at the finish line, it must have been more like cross-country. There was also a celebrity present as Tom Williams, UK parkrun manager, was visiting with his wife.
