Newcastle parkrun 9/3/13

Snow one week, sunshine the next, and now pouring rain! I don’t know what’s crazier, the North-East weather or the masses that turn up week in, week out for their Toonrun fix. One of our major sponsors, Adidas, had a tent set up near the finish to showcase their new “Boost” shoe. To be honest, I was more interested in the flapjacks they were handing out. Ian Hudspith made another rare appearance but was more than a minute slower than his best. He can be forgiven though, conditions weren’t exactly great for a PB attempt. As for team Sky Blue, I was a bit shocked when I looked at the results. I think this was our best turnout in quite some time.

I forgot to mention it last week but Dave ran a PB, taking almost 30 seconds off his previous best.
