Newcastle parkrun 4/5/13

It was a truly amazing record breaking day! 502 runners turned out on a breezy but mild morning to make Toonrun only the sixth in the country to break the 500 mark. As the crowd set off at 9am, I knew we were in for a new attendance record but it didn’t really hit home until I saw the huge queues waiting to get their barcodes scanned. New parkruns are starting up all over the North-East but we still seem to be growing. How much longer till we match Bushy Park for numbers?
