parkrun 31st March 2018

Newcastle parkrun

It was a foul morning on the Town Moor – cold, wet and windy with plenty of surface water.  However it would have taken more than a bit of bad weather to take the smile off Mungai’s face as he completed his 250th parkrun.  Serpil and I ran with him and it was evident from the reception that he got, from runners and marshals alike, that Mungai is a much-loved member of the parkrun community.  Well done, Mungia, you are a star!
