parkrun, 14th March 2020
A special day at Leazes Park as the man responsible for creating this wonderful parkrun said his farewells before moving to that there London (I’m sure he will be back!). It also coincided with the Claremont Road Runners volunteer takeover day, though we normally provide half of the volunteers anyway!
Afterwards, there was a gathering in the Five Swans to give Sumanth a proper send-off (some photos below).
Elsewhere, Chris Jones found a parkrun that finished at Claremont Pier, and Laurie Johnson clocked a PB at Jesmond Dene.
