A bright but breezy morning for the North East parkruns. The Town Moor event was called off at fairly short notice, so a lot of runners choose to have a warm-up run across to Leazes Park which delayed the start to accomodate them. There were fewer Claremonters than usual out running, and I think fewer runners in general – perhaps many were still recovering after Thursday night’s Blaydon Race.
Luke Woodend obviously didn’t give himself much time for Blaydon recovery, as he went international and ran at parkrun du Lac de Divonne, on the French side of the France-Switzerland border near Geneva. He certainly seemed to find bluer skies tahn the rest of us!
Unusually, I don’t think there were any PBs for the Sky Blues today.
