Nairobi Half-Marathon, 30th October 2022

Despite his long lay-off with injury, the running machine that is Mungai Wairia can still knock out a decent half-marathon! This time, he has been back in Kenya to run in the half-marathon.

“The marathon wasn’t in the city streets like before but an out and back across a motorway. There was a good cloud cover before the 7.00am start and an excellent atmosphere at the warm up area. “

Mungai finished in 587th place in a time of 1:47:21.
