Hot Chocolate 5K, 19th November 2023

The Hot Chocolate races take place in numerous cities across the United States. There are 5K, 10K and 15K options, all with thousands of runners taking part and the common theme of a cup of hot chocolate at the end.

Our woman in the USA, Hannah Budge, took on the 5K route in Columbus, Ohio with a 7:30am start. “Freezing but the hot choc at the end motivated me throughout” was how Hannah described the experience.

I can’t find any results, but Strava has Hannah recording a 5K PB – though it actually shows her running 5.23K in 28:36. So that hot chocolate was well-deserved!
