Village Bakery Half-Marathon, Wrexham, 18th February 2024

Hot on the heels of running the Barcelona half last weekend, Aoife Monaghan and Jack Shawcross were on their travels to run another half-marathon this weekend. This time they didn’t go as far, just to Wrexham for the Village Bakery Half-Marathon.

Despite being in North Wales, this race is part of the Run Cheshire series and bills itself as “fast and flat”. Both Aoife and Jack must have recovered from their exertions in sunny Spain as they posted fast times, with Aoife getting a half-marathon PB.
