David Lydall

Chair

David chairs the committee meetings. He also organises marshals for the club handicap and helps edit the website.

Alice Vialard

Vice Chair

Alice supports the Chair and Secretary in ensuring the smooth running of the club and committee meetings.

Maria Duenas

Secretary

 

Maria manages all the club correspondence. She organises the committee meetings setting the agenda and taking minutes.

David Devennie

Treasurer

David looks after the accounts. He also manages the stock of club kit.

Gillian Milne

Membership Secretary

Gill manages the membership database, the England Athletics registration process and the email group.

Nina Jensen

Ladies’ Team Captain
and Coach

Nina manages teams in inter-club events, eg relays and cross-country, encouraging members to participate. She is also a qualified Coach.

Tom Tinsley

Men’s Team Captain

Tom organises teams for relays and cross-country. He also manages the club website, diary and sets the handicaps for our quarterly competition.

Hazel Juggins

Ladies Vice-Captain and Volunteer Co-ordinator

Hazel supports the team captains, deputising when necessary. She also co-ordinates volunteers for our various events.

Howard MacLennan

Men’s Vice Captain

Howard is a qualified Assistant Track Coach. He supports the team captains and organises the Monday run schedule.

New Member Liaison

Lorna liaises with potential new members, explains how things work and helps new members settle in.

Kenny McCormick

Club Coach

Kenny is a qualified coach - he's there to help!

Anna Round

Social Secretary

Anna organises our social life, including post-handicap buffets and the Christmas party.

Cath Robson

Covid-19 Co-ordinator

Cath ensures that we are compying with the latest guidelines. She also schedules our Wednesday interval sessions.

Weetslade Relays Race Director

Terry manages the best relay in the North East - Claremont's own Weetslade Relays.

Leaders in Running Fitness (LIRF)

A LIRF is qualified (and DBS checked) to lead a group safely.
