Athletics Community Day

Claremont Road Runners are hosting an athletics community day on the evening of August 22nd at the Town Moor.

All welcome but u-16’s must come with a responsible adult. All participants take part on their own risk and to take into account their own physical condition. We hope you will have a lot of fun running a bit faster than you usually do over a range of distances and maybe make some new friends in the process.
The event is free to enter. Bottled water will be provided but feel free to bring a bit of a picnic. No other facilities provided.

Assembly, registration and main activity area is on tarmac strip between Exhibition Park and the Claremont Road Junction with the A167. All activities are being held within the Town Moor area. Please be considerate of other users of the area.

Approaches on foot/cycle available via underpass from Brandling Park/Great North Road, roundabout at junction of Claremont Road and Queen Victoria Road, or , with extra care because of slip roads, from Claremont Road junction with A167 (above the GNR start). Nearest Metro Stations: Jesmond and Haymarket, 5-10mins walk away.
