Newcastle parkrun 22/12/12

So the world didn’t end but it sure felt like it on a cold, wet, windy and generally miserable morning on the moor. Well done to the three hardcore Claremonters and 211 others that turned up. The rain didn’t dampen people’s spirit however, as there were costumes aplenty. I spotted santas of all sizes, Ozzy Osbourne, a French maid, the Grinch, Wally, Christmas puddings, and two identical Snowmen handing out the finish tokens!

Don’t forget, there are additional Christmas Day parkruns in both Gateshead and Toon. The forecast actually looks good!
