The forecast was for light overnight flurries. What we got instead was a blanket of snow, and it didn’t stop till noon. Still, the nutters turned up. 185 of them to be exact, not bad considering the National XC Championships were on later in the afternoon. Well done to Mungai Wairia for doing both. We may not be the fastest, but we have nutcases and fashion icons aplenty. More on that below.
