Northumberland Coastal Marathon & Half-Marathon, 1st September 2019

This run is one of the North East Marathon Club series. There is a half-marathon from Alnmouth to Craster and back, whereas the marathon carries on to Beadnell before returning. Richard Slack describes it as a beautiful run entirely off-road on coastal footpaths.

Richard won his age group in the half-marathon and finished in an excellent 7th place overall. He was joined in the half by Marie but Nina ran the full marathon (of course!).
