Geordies Down Under, 20th Feb 2020

Richard Slack is in Sydney running with the Kirribilli Runners, and met a Geordie called Owen who runs for them. Needless to say, Owen knew Mungai!

Here is Richard’s update:

“Owen ran the GNR for Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and met Mungai who he ran with for part of the race, and usual picture at the end. Owen is from Forest Hall nut now lives in Sydney and runs with Kirribilli Runners. Thursday night was the Kirribilli Classic, a 6.3km route that is Sydney Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and the Opera House – all in sunshine! Running does really not get any better. After is a social in Kirribilli hotel (picture with Owen attached) and a pizza.
