Weetslade’s Coming Home – Virtual Relay, July 2021
Thank you to everybody who took part in the Virtual Weetslade Relay. Unfortunately the planned running of the Weetslade Relays in June had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions remaining in place, but we hope you enjoyed it virtually!
Whilst the uptake was a lot lower than last year, 32 teams from 6 different clubs did take part. The result was that “Weetslade came home” with a victory for the Claremont Road Runners A team, the first time a Claremont team had won since the inaugural event in 2010 (which, I believe, only featured 10 teams!).
