Quayside 5K, 11th August 2021

This is a fast, flat 5K along the Quayside that is actually two races – an A race for the speedsters and a B race for those not quite as quick. Catherine Young and Anthony Liddle went in the first race, with Howard MacLennan and Clare McKitterick in the second.

Following her frustrating 19:01 PB in the Sunderland City 5K, Catherine set another PB, running under 19 minutes for the first time. Well done, Catherine! Well done, all!
