parkrun, 27th November 2021

With all of the Tyneside parkruns falling foul to the devastation caused by Storm Arwen, there wasn’t much action on the parkrun front this week. Luke Woodend and Nina Jentl did manage to get a run in at Riverside.

Gill and I (Tom) escaped the worst of the weather as we were down in London. We ran at Harrow where it was windy and very cold, though clearly not as bad as conditions back home. We have done Harrow parkrun before and have always found it to be very friendly – I was even greeted with a smile and “Oh, you are back down again!” on the start line, despite it being over 2 years since we were last ran there.
