Marie Slack and Nina Jensen went down to South Park in Darlington to take part in this unusual event.

Nina explains “Great concept as you each run a mile in turn until you have collectively run 26 miles, then run the last bit together to make 26.2 miles. Be good to get a Claremont contingent there next year!”.

They finished in 3:34:41, which made them the 6th female team and 36th overall.

Well done, ladies – it does sound fun too, definitely a bit different.
