parkrun, 5th February 2022

With the Town Moor parkrun cancelled due to another event and Jesmond Dene still off due to storm damage on the course, there was a larger than usual turnout at Leazes Park. This included 11 Claremont Road Runners plus another 6 volunteering. There were PBs for Fred Besse, Lucas De Rosa and Sarah Kerr, with Sarah finishing as 2nd female.

Over at Rising Sun, Maddie Day equalled Sarah’s achievement with a PB and 2nd place. Clare McKitterick continued the success for the Claremont ladies with a 2nd place at Windy Nook.

Further afield, there was also a PB for Ben Hardy at Clapham Common where, amazingly, 3 Claremont Road Runners took part.

Well done, everybody – I bet it was windy!
