Super Sprint Triathlon, 21st August 2022

The 2022 British Triathlon Super Series Grand Final took place in Sunderland this weekend.  Catherine Young took part in the Super Sprint event.  This is a 300m swim, 8.5K bike ride and a 2.5K run.

Catherine finished in 25th place in the female race in an overall time of 39:54.  The event was also an age group qualifying race to represent Great Britain.  Unfortunately Catherine missed out on a qualifying time by 30 seconds – not surprising as she had run a 10K race the day before!  Well done, Catherine, and work on those transitions for next time!
