A slightly quieter day for Claremont at parkruns this weekend, perhaps due to the Farringdon Relays and the end of the school holidays. However competing in the relays didn’t stop Holly Porter from grabbing a Town Moor PB – an excellent warm-up!
There were also a PB for Liz Denyer at Rising Sun, and it was a good day at Denton Dene with both our representatives, Lucy Keating and Michael Teasdale, recording their best times to date. Elsewhere it was good to see Niki Szlovak back at parkrun following her recent injury woes, with a second place finish at Riverside.
There was not much tourism this weekend, but Cate Walker was running in Wormwood Scrubs – I hope they have let her out and we can see her at the club this week!
