Sunderland Urban Ultra, 2nd November 2024

There is no stopping Nina Jensen – just wind her up and she runs for ever! This weekend’s jaunt was a 34 mile trot around Sunderland, aka the Sunderland Urban Ultra. The race blurb describes it as: “A 34 mile loop race taking in the city and countryside around Sunderland, passing iconic landmarks, historic locations and spectacular coastlines.”

Nina’s view was “A fab route and a good feed by the Strollers afterwards.” No results as yet, but a 7 hour 23 minute day out according to Strava.
