Gibside Fruit Bowl, 17th November 2024

The Gibside Fruit Bowl Trail Race takes place in the grounds of the National Trust Gibside Estate. Starting and finishing alongside the walled garden, this scenic 7 mile route takes in all of Gibside’s major landmarks. The official race description describes it as “not flat”, which anybody who knows Gibside will realise is somewhat of an understatement!

Well done to the 3 Claremont Road Runners who took part. All did well, but Sarah “loved that race” Kerr was the fastest, finishing 3rd lady.
