Mid-Cheshire 5K, 29th August 2025

Aoife Monaghan and Jack Shawcross travelled down to KIngsley in Cheshire for the summer version of what is billed as “Quite simply one of the fastest 5k road races anywhere in the country.” It certainly must attract some serious athletes … Jack’s time of 17:02 saw him finish outside of the top 300.

Aoife also recorded an excellent time, and had this to say: “I headed down to Cheshire for another go at the renowned Mid Cheshire 5k which boasts a fast course and record times so I thought I’d give it another go. After not very much running over the past month, I went into it with no real goal so was happy enough to come away with 22:19 and can’t wait to do it again in Spring for a proper go!”
