Aberfoyle Trail Half-Marathon, 11th October 2025

Aberfoyle in the stunning Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, was the destination for Ana Prodan’s latest run.

The blurb for the race describes it as: “Aberfoyle is a trail runner’s paradise, offering some of the most scenic and challenging routes in Scotland. The diverse terrain, rich forestry, and well-maintained trails make it the perfect setting for both competitive racing and personal achievement.” Ana’s description was a bit more succinct: “Congestion at the beginning and many many hills.”

Ana’s time of 2:05:40 was more than respectable and saw her finish in 120th place.
