Hadrian’s Wall Half-Marathon, 11th October 2026

There were three Claremont Road Runners who headed inland for this run in the beautiful Northumberland countryside – and all loved it (I think, but no quote from Jim yet!).

“Hadrian wall half- prettiest half I’ve done!

A real mixture, gravel path, grass/trail and mud, stones, stepping stones, field then gravel, then more stepping stones then path! And then narrow trail paths (gravely/ rooty) then path then gravel. Really nice overall. I was thinking I might as well have done XC but actually it was so pretty thatthe miles flew by, and before I knew it I was done!”

Kay Schiller was more succinct, simply saying “Beautiful, can highly recommend.”
