Newcastle parkrun 23/03/13
If March 20th was the first day of spring, I don’t think the parkrun weather fairies got the memo. It was quite possibly the coldest and windiest Toonrun ever. I suppose we should be thankful that it didn’t snow when the rest of the country was covered in it. Despite the cold and lack of feeling in my hands, I was glad I was volunteering, as the wind on the course must have been brutal. Only three Claremonters turned up, no doubt because the rest were saving themselves for the fight against relegation at Prudhoe.
