NEMC Town Moor Marathon, 17th Nov 2019
As usual, the North East Marathon Club’s annual Town Moor Marathon was well supported by Claremont Road Runners. As well as providing 10 participants for the full and half-marathons, Claremont also manned the drinks (and snacks) station stationed at the end of each lap.
I think everybody who runs lap after lap around the Moor thoroughly deserves their medal, but would like to say a special “well done” to our crazy Italian, Roberto Marzo. Robbie not only pushed his daughter Elena around the half-marathon course in a double-buggy, but did so in the amazing time of 1:31.
As well as the runners listed below, Marie Slack completed 18 miles and Sumanth Nayak 2 laps before pulling out with injury.
