Ultra Tour of Edinburgh, 17th October 2021

Simon Lowe certainly likes to set himself dome tough challenges. A veteran of The Wall and other ultras, this time Simon took on the Ultra Tour of Edinburgh. Classed as a 57K race, Simon clocked it as 53K which may explain how he had enough energy left to jump over the finish line (see photo below). The route starts and finishes in Edinburgh but spends time in the Pentland Hills, so it baffles me how anybody could have any energy left, 4K short or not!

Simon finished in 30th place in a time of 5 hours 42 minutes – an excellent effort. Well done!
