This was a quiet parkrun Saturday for Claremonters, with the third cross-country fixture of the season taking place later in the day. This didn’t stop Lynne Cornell from taking part in Rising Sun parkrun in the morning and racing at Lambton with the rest of us at lunchtime!
We still had a presence across all three of the Newcastle courses and were scattered throughout the North East, with Paul Jameson recording a PB at Leazes and Nikki Szlovak taking first lady at yet another local parkrun, this time Albert parkrun over in Middlesbrough! Many of us chose to volunteer instead, taking over nine of the 15 volunteer spots at Leazes.
Some exciting tourism happening as well, with Tara Hipwood representing us all the way from Bangor in Northern Ireland and Sarah Kerr running over in the Lakes at Keswick!
