parkrun, 5th November 2022

It was a dull, wet morning for our parkrun fix this weekend. With relays and Town Moor marathon taking place on the Sunday, a number of us were either resting or taking it easy, so it was left to Ben Hardy and Nina Jentl to provide the fireworks.

Ben, who is getting back to his best following a long lay-off, dipped under the 20 minute barrier for a PB on the Town Moor. Not be outdone, Nina recovered from cross-country back pain to go under 25 minutes for the first time at Riverside, Chester-le-Street.
