La Courstache Charity Run, 5th November 2022

Gone for now, but not forgotten, Lucas De Rosa recently left our shores to pursue opportunities in Australia.

Before quitting Europe, however, he was enjoying a brief stopover in his native France, and on Saturday was representing in Claremont colours, in not one but two charity races!

Taking place on the streets of Aubière, Lucas wasted no time in smashing out a PB in the 10k, finishing 185th from a field of 758 in a swift 42:52. Brilliant performance, Lucas!

Not satisfied with this achievement, 90 minutes later he was off running again, completing the 5k race alongside his father and nephews. With this kind of drive, triathlons surely beckon…
