It was a very wet start to the weekend on Saturday morning, but nevertheless we were quite well distributed across the North East, with a presence at eight of the local parkruns.
Quite a few more of us were volunteering instead, with cross country happening later that day. Not that that stopped Lena and Lynne from running twice in a day!
A good weekend for the Claremont ladies, with Izzy Neatrour getting 2nd lady at Jesmond Dene and Heather Steel and Niki Szlovak getting 3rd lady at Gateshead and Riverside respectively.
We had the full French-Australian contingent representing us Down Under, with Lucas getting a 2nd place over in Western Australia, and a sky-blue reunion in Sydney!
