parkrun, 3rd June 2023

Claremont Road Runners spread ourselves around the country this weekend – from Dumfries in Scotland to Colchester in Essex via Keswick, York, Wilmslow and Watford. The craze for collecting letters continues with Cate Walker going to York to grab a Y for her alphabet, Maria Duenas heading up the coast to collect an N for her name from Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, and Jack Shawcross making the pilgrimage to the home of parkrun, Bushy Park, for his B (along with an incredible 1446 other runners!).

O a sunny morning in the North East, there were good turnouts at the Town Moor, Leazes and Whitley Bay but only Lynne Cornell went to Rising Sun to help them celebrate their 7th birthday.

Congratulations to Francesco Carrer for being the only sky blue to record a PB, which he did at Whitley Bay.
