City of Lincoln 10K, 14th April 2024

Billed as a fast, flat race around the city of Lincoln, this is very popular 10K attracting some 6,000 runners. Lucy Ward went down to Lincolnshire to try it. Lucy enjoyed the race despite it being “flatter than I am used to!”, and finished in 1218th position (219th female) in a time of 52:00. She also remarked that “There’s more in the tank yet if….. can get a few niggles and a few pounds off sorted”.
