Manchester Marathon, 14th April 2024

Another weekend and another Claremont Road Runner making their marathon debut. This time it was Aaron Mansell, who made the trip down to Manchester to take on the 26.2 miles for the first time.

Aaron enjoyed the experience saying:

“The support and atmosphere was unbelievable, really caught me off guard with how electric it was!
I was feeling quite nervy going into it after the last few weeks. Whereas now, I’m weighing up which one is next…
I’ve also never seen as many potholes in my life!”

Despite struggling with a niggling injury in the build-up, Aaron completed the course in a very creditable 4:04:32.

However, Aaron wasn’t the only Claremont Road Runner to run. Eric Adams clocked an impressive 3:20:51.
