Fell ’em Doon 5 Miler, 30th July 2024

The Fell ’em Doon 5 Miler is a trail race on the scenic paths in Ashington Community Woodland, where the parkrun is also held.

Nina Jensen was there and sends this report: “Just 3 Claremonter’s in the Ashington Fell Em Doon 5 mile last night. I didn’t see Eric apart from in the results but saw Chris Jones at the end who was off for fish and chips! Lovely evening and nice and cool on the woods. The route is 2 laps and multi terrain but thankfully nice and dry so no slippy or muddy bits this year. Nice wooden handmade coaster as a memento along with some chocolate, juice and salted broad bean snacks!”
