Croft Circuit 10K, 1st December 2024

Two Claremont Road Runners made the journey to Croft Motor Racing Circuit this Sunday, but they were running around the track under their own steam rather than racing cars (despite Aaron Mansell having a surname very much associated with a famous racing driver!).

Aaron was, in fact, pacing not racing as he took on the role of 55 minute pacer. The other entrant, Aoife Monaghan had a very good run, finishing as 6th female, She described as as a series of miles alternating by running into a very strong wind, followed by one with the wind behind you. Hence her quote on Strava: “You can literally tell which miles I was running into a headwind but really happy with this.”
