Harry Mawdsley was down in that there London to compete in the London Landmarks Half-Marathon. Harry has been in great form lately, and this was no different – he would have recorded his best ever half-marathon time if the race hadn’t been cut short.
Due to an accident on the London Underground, the course had to be re-routed so that the roads needed by the emergency vehicles could remain open. The result was a route that was 700m short of the half-marathon distance.
So, it may not have been a half-marathon PB, but Harry can be proud of a 15th place finish in a time of 1:13:18. Brilliant!
