DK Mile, 3rd July 2026

It’s been a little while since we had a DK Mile without a lovely sunset, but the 4^th in this year’s series was accompanied by grey skies and light, but intermittent rain.

The wind is often the crucial factor on the promenade though, and luckily there wasn’t much of that. Aoífe Monaghan and Charlotte Kerr took advantage of this, both shaving off seconds to claim PB’s, finishing with the same time. It was also a great run for Sarah Kerr, running her fastest time since 2024.
