Silksworth 5K, 9th July 2026

Two of our speedy ladies took part in this 5K race in sunny Sunderland – and both ran exceptionally well. Although the official results do not seem to be out yet, they both clocked great times, finishing 12 seconds apart. Heather Steel dipped under 20 minutes to record 19:56 – her 5K PB. Just over the 20 minute mark, Catherine Young ran an impressive 20:08.
