Flamingo Land 10K, 5th September 2026

Claire Jeffray enjoyed a trip to Flamingo Land this weekend, though she wasn’t there to enjoy the thrills of the theme park, but to get the thrill of running a 10K race.

Claire was happy with her performance, commenting “Not enough in the tank to crack the 50min… fingers crossed for Redcar 10k in a few weeks. Hopefully much better prep and injury healed by then.” She may not not have broken the 50 minute barrier but she was very close, her time of 50:11 being fast enough to comfortably win her age category. Well done!
