Roseville Chase 10k, Sydney 2012

The Claremont vest had an outing down under in this popular race on the north shore of Sydney harbour. 850 Sydneysiders (and me!) turned out at 8am for a 10km or 5km, starting amongst gum trees, screeching parrots and glorious winter sunshine. The 10km route had amazing glimpses of the harbour below and the cityscape, between steep switchbacks and killer hills that wouldn’t be out of place at Prudhoe XC. And of course, a barbie as soon as you crossed the finish!
