parkrun, 1st February 2020
It was a windy day for a parkrun, and perhaps a blessing in disguise that the Town Moor event was cancelled this week. The inevitable spill-over resulted in a record attendance at Leazes and the second highest attendance at Jesmond Dene.
There were plenty of PBs this week, for Paul Hughes and Brian Hegarty at Leazes, Richard Slack at Durham, Cath Robson at Oak Hill, Heather Steel at Gateshead, and Dave Lydall and Nena Jentl at Jesmond Dene.
Paul now has six PBs in a row at Leazes Park! Amazing! Well done Heather too, first female, two weeks in a row.
Well done everyone who ran or volunteered this weekend.
