Norman Woodcock Relays, 21st to 28th November
As with other relays, this year’s Norman Woodcock Relays, organised by Elswick Harriers, was a virtual affair. This time we had a week to run any 2 mile course of our own choosing. There was no stipulation of starting and finishing at the same place, so downhill courses were a possibility! I don’t know how many runners could take advantage of this, but there were certainly some excellent times posted.
Claremont Road Runners were well represented, supplying 11 out of the 124 complete teams. There were also some impressive performances, with our ‘A’ team finishing in 7th place.
