Run for All Middlesbrough 10k, 4th September 2022

Last year, Martin ran in the Tees Pride 10K one year after having surgery and chemotherapy to treat cancer. He went back this year to run it again, though it has now been renamed as the “Run for All Middlesbrough 10k”.

Martin finished in 412th position in a time of 55:15.

I think it is fair to say that Martin was a bit disappointed with his time as it was slightly slower than last year, and he has improved steadily over the 12 months – just look at his parkrun times. However, as he had to run through the pain of having blisters on his feet, he should be proud of his achievements.
